Island Time - Norfolk Island Stage Race

Whether you ride for the destination or the journey listen up for there's a stage race on a tiny spec in the Pacific Ocean that's calling everyones name.
Norfolk Island, located just a couple of hours flying time from the eastern seaboard is again set to host the 2012 Cross Country MTB Tour, a 3 day, 6 stage event from Friday 29 June to Friday 6th July 2012.

More great shots are coming out from Stages 3 & 4 of the Absa Cape Epic from the past two days. Whilst we're not 'covering' the race as such with access to shots as great as these I just can't not run them.
Stage 3 was epic with 147km and 2,900m of climbing. Now that's a bloody tough day out on it's own but try backing that up with Stage 4's 105km one featuring 2,600m of climbing. Tough!

24 Hour racing fever is here.Trawling through the Event Calendar over the weekend it only just hit me that we are about to enter 24 Hour racing fever. If there ever was a 'season' for 24 Hour racing this would have to be it.
