There’s just something special about a race put on by a mountain bike club. With volunteer labour it’s often just a labour of love that keeps a club ticking over, results tallied and trails maintained.
The Central West Off Road Off Road Bicycle Club (CWORBC) is one such club and they're currently busy prepping the Kinross Forest trails for the inaugural Ginja Ninja 250 to be held on Saturday 5th February 2012.

Just a few weeks ago the club banded together and 20 club members lent a hand to scratch in some new trails to complement a fast and flowy downhill that needed a little TLC.
The new section 'TTT' is reportedly coming along nicely and with the plans for a nice wide and smooth track, it should cater for all abilities from punters to elite.
With news that Merida are donating a MTB for one lucky draw entrant valued at $1000 it’s even more of a reason to get your ninja on and check out the Ginja Ninja 250.

How Ninja Are You?
Contending ninjas will compete in the classic MTB enduro format. This means striving to complete as many laps as possible in 4 hours and 10 mins around a course designed to be fun for everyone from beginner ninjlets to wise and experienced ninjas.
The focus is on fun and there will be a healthy prize pool showered on everyone, not only on the place getters.
