Bundanoon based event promoter Wild Horizons have announced that their newest event the Active8 @ Lake Crackenback was cancelled.

Due to be held last weekend on the 23-24th January 2010 Wild Horizons cited a lower than expected turnout for the event as the cancellation reason. The novel event was to be held over 2 days with 8 events ranging from a pedal boat time trial to a 6 hour enduro at the Lake Crackenback Resort in the Snowy Mountains.

Wild Horizons next event the DT Swiss Mountains to the Beach, a week of stage racing from Thredro to Narooma, will pass through Lake Crackenback resort for two of the 11 stages.
